Pure Nature Pseudopregnancy (Pseudopregnancy) 50 ml
For mood swings and discomfort during and after the heat/cycle in dogs and rabbits.

Complementary pet food for Cats, Dogs, Rodents.

Compound:
Extracts of common sage (Salvia officinalis) and oats (Avena sativa). Diluted extract of asafoetida (Asa foetida). Alcohol 29% v/v.

Indication(s):
For optimal hormonal balance in the bitch and to counteract various types of false pregnancy behaviour.

Although many of our dogs no longer resemble the wild wolf in appearance, the essence of much dog behavior has remained the same as that of their wild ancestors. One of these legacies is that many modern domestic dogs, even though they do not live in a pack and do not have an alpha female to help with suckling (the original purpose of pseudopregnancy in the wolf pack), exhibit the same pseudopregnancy behavior.

Often the first thing to notice is that bitches start to behave differently after the heat. In animals that have been fertilized, the progesterone level starts to rise from that period, in unfertilized false pregnant bitches the same happens. After the birth, this progesterone level drops again and the hormone prolactin ensures that milk production starts. This hormone also influences the behavior of bitches.

Many false pregnant bitches like to withdraw, or even want to run, become snappy, eat less well and are less willing to go outside. Other bitches become annoyingly affectionate, or very squeaky.

Some bitches even go out of their way to find surrogate children, dragging anything that could be considered a puppy, such as socks, slippers or toys, back to their 'nest'.

False pregnancy can be a very unpleasant period, both for the bitch and for the owner.

Pure false pregnancy normalizes the abnormal behavior of the bitch during this period.

Properties per ingredient:
Relaxing for inner unrest and against discomforts around the heat.

Common sage (Salvia officinalis) reduces mammary gland congestion.

Oats (Avena sativa) has a relaxing effect on inner unrest.

Devil's dung (Asa foetida) calming and helps with mood swings. Is beneficial for a good mental balance.

Dosage and application:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or therapist 3 times a day:

Dog: 10-15 drops
Rabbit: 3-5 drops

1ml = 20 drops.

The product can be administered directly or with some water in the mouth using a plastic spoon or syringe. If necessary, it can be dripped onto something tasty. Give PUUR False Pregnancy at least half an hour before or after eating, so that it can be absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. Start administering PUUR False Pregnancy at the end of the heat and use the product until the time at which the false pregnancy would normally have ended. In cases of very heavy false pregnancy, it may be advisable to start using PUUR False Pregnancy during the heat. If PUUR False Pregnancy is administered at the time that a bitch shows signs of false pregnancy, the product should take effect after approximately 3 days to a week. If no effect is noticeable, the dose should be increased to a maximum of double the dosage.

PUUR False Pregnancy can be used in combination with other medicines without any problems.

In a single case, an innocent and short-term worsening of the symptoms may occur at the beginning of taking the drops. This indicates that the animal is reacting intensively to the product. If this worsening is bothersome, you should halve the recommended dose for your animal or skip a dose. If you think you have noticed a side effect, we request that you report this to your veterinarian or therapist.

Advice for use Start administering PUUR False Pregnancy at the end of the heat. In rabbits, PUUR False Pregnancy is given when necessary.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.

In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

This product can be given permanently (rabbit). It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume the treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.
