Virbac Dermacool Hot Spot 50 ml Virbac Dermacool Hot Spot 50 ml is a cooling, drying, anti-itch and soothing agent for wet eczema including hot spot. This will reduce biting and scratching by the animal and prevent further trauma. Menthol has a cooling effect; witch hazel is drying due to its astringent effect and parachlorometaxylenol has disinfecting properties. Propylene glycol and glycerol have a soothing and non-irritating effect. Spherulites are micro-spheres built up in layers that ensure a delayed release of active ingredients and thus a longer lasting effect. Chitosanide is a biodegradable biopolymer that adheres to the skin and hair with the spherulites and has a moisture-regulating effect. For wet eczema including hot spots in dogs and cats Spray Dermacool directly onto the damaged skin areas and the immediate surroundings. Repeat the treatment two to three times a day. Contains menthol, witch hazel extract and parachlorometaxylenol and chitosanide, in encapsulated (spherulites) and free form, in a mixture of propylene glycol and glycerol.
