Properties per ingredient: PUUR Psyllium contains only the active ingredient, namely the husk of the psyllium seed and not the entire seed. This has the property that it can absorb a great deal of moisture. This makes the intestinal contents softer and more voluminous, which improves intestinal passage. This has the effect of preventing constipation and improving intestinal peristalsis. Psyllium Husk can bind toxins and heavy metals and thus support the body's detoxification mechanism. PUUR Psyllium is given with plenty of water for loose stools and with little water for constipation.

The optimal dosage is 1 - 2 x daily:
Dog > 25 kg 1.5 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg 1 scoop
Dog < 10 kg and cat 0.5 scoop
1 scoop contains approximately 2 grams.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.
Administration
Can be given through the food, wet the food so that it is not blown out of the food bowl. Give PURE Psyllium for loose stools with little water. To soften the stool, give with plenty of water.
Advice for use
Provide good quality food and constant access to fresh drinking water.
Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 1 to 3 days. In case of improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.
In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 days. If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.
This product can be given permanently.
Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.
Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without any problem in combination with other natural health products and regular medicines. Combine with PUUR Probiotics or Phytonics Probiotics for the restoration of the intestinal flora. Give PUUR Diarrhoea to stimulate the self-healing capacity in case of loose stools. Give PUUR Stomach or Phytonics Gastri comp in case of vomiting, nausea or a bloated feeling.
Contraindications
During pregnancy and lactation always use in consultation with the attending veterinarian. Do not give to animals with intestinal obstruction.
