Properties per ingredient: Cranberry (Large Cranberry) is a very sour berry. For a long time it was assumed that it was the acidity of this berry that created an unfavorable environment for bacteria in the bladder. However, research has shown that this effect is based on a different mechanism. It is mainly the red dyes, proanthocyanidins, from Cranberries that prevent the adhesion of bacteria to the bladder wall. This prevents bacteria from multiplying: they are urinated out before they can cause problems. The degree of concentration is very important with Cranberry. Many supplements based on cranberry contain some of the berry, but not enough to have a powerful effect. This is why Cranberry complete has chosen 1:25, which means that one kilo of extract has been obtained from 25 kg of cranberry, which is very concentrated.
