Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for the dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.

Poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together provide a delicious taste and aroma of the chunk. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables have been added to our food. In this way, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can contribute to digestion, among other things.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruit to Yourdog, which provides the dog with all the essential, natural antioxidants. Fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also contribute to fresh breath or maintaining healthy digestion. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Spices

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and seaweeds, among other things, has its origins thousands of years ago. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Butterfly Dog and Night Butterfly Dog Specific Vegetables, Herbs and Fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Papillon and the Papillon. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Papillon and the Papillon belong. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Papillon and the Papillon.

Nettle

Nettle is a genus of plants of which the large nettle and the small nettle occur in the Netherlands and Belgium. Nettle is known for its cleansing and blood purifying effect. According to various sources, nettle is bactericidal and therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also suitable for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.

Nettle supports the functioning of the liver and kidneys by stimulating the breakdown of waste products. In addition, it works to support the bladder and the hair growth of the dog.

Nettle also contains silicic acid, or silicon. This is a building block that is part of connective tissue in bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of skin (cells) and ensures the maintenance of healthy skin.

At Yourdog we add nettle to our dog food, because this can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific complaints in relation to the coat, skin and bones of the dog, but also to prevent digestive and/or urination problems.

Basil

Basil is a genus from the Lamiaceae family. The name comes from Ancient Greek, in which Œbasileus means king, the alternative name is therefore king's herb. It originally occurs between central Africa and southeast Asia.

According to traditional medicine, basil was used as a treatment for arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart disease and stomach pain. Research has shown that basil can have strong antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties. In addition, basil can promote digestion, help with the removal of waste and can have an antispasmodic and calming effect on the dog.

Plums

The plum is a tree fruit from the rose family and falls under the category of drupes. Plum trees are known for their beautiful blossom in spring and the sweet juicy fruit was eaten early in Roman times.

Plums contain many healthy nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Plums are rich in vitamins A, B6, B12, C and D and the minerals potassium, magnesium and iron. Plums are also low in calories and are known for their laxative effect.
